Every morning in Mallorca I get out of bed, and then get mentally drunk with the overwhelming amount of sun. I guess that’s what sundaze literately means, it’s inevitable.
It takes quite a lot of determination to finally decide to pick myself up from the sun lounger, and actually head out of the cottage for something else.

But finally we were ready to go, and decided to give the cutest little retro train: the Ferrocarril , a go. The train conveniently departs from Palma a few times a day, stops by Bunyola where we stayed, and goes to Soller, one of the biggest towns in the north of Mallorca.
You can book tickets online in advance(I guess advised if you depart from Palma), or just get the ticket at the station. Both the Bunyola station itself and the train looked like props from a fairy tale. It’s difficult to believe that something that looked like that could actually still be in perfect working condition.
The train takes you through the mountains in the north, in and out of tunnels. It stops at this great viewing platform that gives a great view of Soller, surrounded by mountains. There’s no refreshment offered on the train. So taking something to drink or nibble on on board is highly recommended.
