The Treasure Island

I don’t know where all the time has gone, but it is the Lapada fair again! Set up at the same Mayfair spot in Berkeley square, the Lapada tent surfaced the ground like a treasure island, full of wonders and excitements.

I arrived in this old trusted denim piece, which’s got a loose fit, oversized t-shirt dress style. Completed by a bit of sexy surprise at the back. It’s completely your choice how much you’d like to reveal, I just went for the safe option and layered it with a beige cami for the day.

Denim dress, similar styles can be found at ASOSSee By Chloe or Miss Selfrige.

Beige cami, similar from Warehouse.

I’ve kept my accessories to a minimum in anticipation to trying on a good amount of antique pieces during the fair. No jewellery was worn other than my wedding ring & the pair of pearl earrings from Bauble BarSolaris small shoulder bag from Lara Bohinc; a skinny belt just to create a bit of a feminine silhouette; Pleece scarf from Design House Stockholm, and finally the two-part flats from Melissa.

Then there began some serious admiration of beautiful things, starting even before I stepped into the treasure tent!

At 7pm I walked out only to find the day had almost gone dark. Away with me I took some great inspirations about fashion, art, interior… and of course this utterly beautiful piece of antique bangle.
