Street Theatre

Street style has been taking over all the fashion world like a storm in the past years. People love to see how other people like themselves take on different fashion trends on real streets in real life. I’ve always loved to look at street fashion photos for outfit inspirations. But it’s until recently when I started this blog, that I realised how difficult it can actually be to get a good picture on the street.

One thing I’ve learnt so far is to use natural light wisely. Although you can’t make the sun to work at you will, you can always look for props on the street that will help you create the perfect outdoor photo studio. Light is your friend, but you want to work with it in an angle. If you find the right angle for the light to hit your face, it will help you enhance your facial features.
It is quite tricky trying to work with sunlight. But one cheat is to stay in the shade, while looking towards the light. This way, your eyes will seem so bright reflecting the light, while not losing any detail of your outfit.
I’ve had some requests to sport a few outfits in black & white, and suitable for the office. I’m from the bottom of my heart a girl for colours. But B&W combo is by no means boring at all! By playing with textures, shapes and pairing with interesting accessories, your B&W office outfit can be just as exciting.
A long black duster coat is never going to go wrong. Here I’ve selected a few choices of different lengths and materials all of which will complement your work wardrobe.
