Review Of A 40-Pound Dress

This is the 40 pounds Altuzarra for Target wrap dress. I got it as soon as their collection launched on Net-A-Porter, but only put it on for the first time last evening for a concert.

One thing to clarify before I start: this is a voluntary review and I do not earn anything from doing it.
I’ve been longing for a chance to wear this stunning piece of dress. It’s got the softest, smoothest, silkiest jersey material. Beautiful oxblood colour that reminds you of that glamorous old Hollywood time. The details, from the folds at waist and drapes down the hem line, to the amazing fringe details on the belt, everything’s been done with great love and care. The only problem is that, I’ve not yet found a way to dress it down because of its full-on sexy & glamorous appearance. But if you were going on a dinner date, or a cocktail party, or a “semi-formal” event like the one I went for, it would be the perfect piece to arm yourself with.
To complete the look, I wore my newly acquired bargain python print leather jacket from Hobbs, similar style from here. Origami style necklace was a gift from OOAK boutique, from Origami jewellery. Solaris small shoulder bag from Lara bohinc(also worn here). Knee boots, similar style from KG Kurt Geiger (also worn here).
The cutting of this dress is very flattering, it gives you all the confidence you need really. I highly recommend it if you can still have your hands on it. But please if anyone could suggest a way to style it in a casual/business setting? I would really love to hear about it:)
