A grey but dry London morning looked very promising. Surprisingly warm too, I didn’t need the coat that I brought with me.
Being on a Sunday, it didn’t feel right to adopt an over polished look. I wore what I’d really wear on any other Sundays: grey T-shirt, vintage jeans and a black blazer. The only extra effort I made were the pair of golden slingback block heels, which would normally, on a Sunday, be trainers or slippers.
People watching started straight away once getting out of the cab on Tate Modern.
Sara Harris from British Vogue also relied on her black blazer and jeans.
Inside of the show space, staffs dressed like pretty little butterflies in Preen ruffled maxi dresses.
And the runway was soon filled with the new AW16 pieces including the usual amazing patchwork fur, rock chic tartan checks, floaty silk dresses, and then it came velvet, sequins, ruffles… the mix between feminine and masculine climbed onto a whole new level. Every piece was stunning yet wearable, truly amazing. (to see more video clips from the catwalk please check on my instagram @SweetChiliGloria)
And of course it always gives me equal(if not more) pleasure to see what the show guests are wearing too, e.g. these yummy Preen pieces from ladies sitting in the front. (those back details are to die for)
