Check it your way

The checked blazer trend is getting hotter and hotter as the weather in London gets colder and colder. My 3-piece suit was actually bought a year ago from Mango. Although I love a matchy-matchy outfit, I’ve never worn them together before. But the other day I’ve finally found the perfect way to jazz things up my way.

I’ve seen more than at least 10 dozen pictures of outfit involving a checked blazer+a white t-shirt+pair of jeans. It’s not that I don’t find that outfit completely effortless & chic. I mean I totally want to rock an outfit like that on a nice Sunday for example. But there are just too many copy-and-paste styles now, I wanted to test out other possibilities of a checked blazer. And this time with its matching trousers and waistcoat too.

A bright shift dress does just trick.

The colour and material brightens up the whole look. I believe the colour choice is not to everyone’s taste. But there’s a variety of colours and textures available that can do just the same thing: making the outfit more fun and feminine, and giving the blazer so much more potential than just with T-shirt and jeans.
