Although the canteen in the museum is known to be one of the grandest of its kind, there are times when it’s worth taking your lunch outside at the V&A. Midsummer days in the courtyard of the famous Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, is a place unlike anywhere else. Not only will you get to enjoy the precious sunshine of British summer, you’ll also find yourself soaked in an ocean of beautiful hydrangeas. The most saturated blue, purple and pink are to be found there.
If you ever find yourself around South Kensington on a sunny day in June/July, I strongly suggest paying a visit to the courtyard in the V&A. Whatever mood you’re in that day, a visit there is bond to put a smile on your face.
