What you need:
Plain steamed rice(or brown rice, it’s your choice);
Cooked/raw salmon fillet(1/2 of the portion of the rice you have);
Sea salt with mixed herbs;
Japanese Togarishi seasoning (it’s possible to make your own too, the ingredient in the seasoning are sesame seeds, poppy seeds, wasabi powder, nori flakes, orange rind and chilies)
Japanese green tea
Firstly you pan fry the salmon on a low heat without any oil, wait for the fat from the salmon comes out, then stir in the cooked rice.
Keep stir frying the salmon and rice together on a low-medium heat for another 3-5 mins, until all the moisture evaporates and the mixture of salmon and rice feels light and starts to golden.
While the rice is cooking, boil water and make a pot of Japanese green tea. As the salmon rice is done, add Togarishi seasoning on top as garnishing, and season with salt and mixed herbs.
